IIS Error 404 2 1260

Whenever you receive a 404 2 1260 error in your Internet Information Server Log File, check if ASP.NET is allowed to execute.

  • Open IIS Manager
  • Open [Web Server Extensions]
  • Check if ASP.NET v1.1.4322 or ASP.NET v2.0.5727 is prohibited to run
